In order to make for a better Chamber we have organized the representatives from the entities into advisory councils - of which we have three groups - Corporate, Tribal and Academic
Academic Advisory COUNCIL
The Chamber membership foresaw a need to have technical, academic assistance to form a well-rounded Chamber. The Academic Advisors are from Illinois's leading institutions of higher learning.
The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is the graduate business school of the University of Chicago in Chicago, Illinois. Booth has produced more Nobel laureates in the Economic Sciences than any other school and is second only to the University of Cambridge in total. Formerly known as The University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, Chicago Booth is the second-oldest business school in the U.S.
The mission of the Chicago American Indian Education Program is to ensure that each American Indian and Alaska Native child in Chicago Public Schools has equal access to educational opportunities.
For over 45 years, NASP, a unit of Students Affairs at the University of Illinois at Chicago has provided resources for Native American, Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, and other indigenous students to enhance their individual growth and development, leadership skills, and academic achievement.
Corporate Advisory COUNCIL
This esteemed group consists of leading corporate and governmental agency supplier diversity staffers, public/governmental affairs personnel, purchasing agents and other experts from large corporate members of the Chamber.
Tribal Advisory COUNCIL
The Chamber is truly honored to have great partners in Tribal Leadership. These leaders provide valued input to the Chamber regarding tribal efforts, issues and needs.
